Kathryn Soderberg, CPCU, is president of Soderberg Insurance Services. She is a Lynnfield native. She holds an undergraduate degree from Colby College and a Masters Degree from Penn State College.

Ms. Soderberg is fluent in Spanish and has led the agency's entrance into the Hispanic marketplace where they are a recognized leader.

Ms. Soderberg was consulted in 2004 by Metropolitan Life and Health to address a special initiative of Metlife regarding the unique challenges for agencies who seek to be successful in the Hispanic Market. That same year, she was the subject of a feature article in Rough Notes Magazine, a national magazine in for insurance professionals on this same subject. The Standard Magazine, New England's leading insurance news publication featured the Ms. Soderberg for her expertise in this unique marketplace.

Ms. Soderberg is a frequently invited guest speaker for business groups. Ms. Soderberg and her agency received national recognition from Inc Magazine and MCI for providing outstanding customer service. Soderberg Insurance was selected as one of 40 finalists nationwide to receive this honor.

She and her agency have offered mentoring programs for undergraduates at her alma mater, Colby College offering exposure to the insurance field for college graduates. She also was selected by the Governor of Massachusetts to participate in a trade mission to South America to investigate business opportunities in Brazil, Argentina and Chile.

At Soderberg Insurance, Ms. Soderberg focuses her efforts on new accounts for small to medium size businesses as well as employee benefits and personal lines sales.

Douglas G. Soderberg, CPCU, CLU, ChFC, is founder and Treasurer of Soderberg Insurance Services. He has been a Lynnfield resident since 1965 and grew up in New Sweden, Maine. Where he met and later married his junior high sweetheart and business co-founder Frances Roderick. Mr. Soderberg attended the University of Florida and graduated from Ricker College, Houlton, Maine and received his Master of Science in Finance degree from the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA.

He is a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table. Doug has laid the foundation for agency growth to more than 5 million in annual sales since it's inception. Mr. Soderberg was previously the youngest general agent (at age 24) the Aetna Life ever appointed. Life insurance was the focus of the agency at inception.

He started Soderberg Insurance Services in 1968 shortly after he was transferred to the Aetna Boston agency. He also started Soderberg & Company the same year, a broker-dealer with the NASD. Mr. Soderberg is active in the Lynnfield Rotary Club and the Ipswich Country Club where he is an avid golfer.

Frances Roderick Soderberg is the co-founder of Soderberg Insuance Services . She oversees the general operations of the agency. Mrs. Soderbeg graduated from the University of Maine in Orono, Maine. She was accepted to Harvard University Graduate School, but married her high school sweetheart Douglas Soderberg instead! Prior to entering the insurance business, she spent a year in Arthur D. Little's flavor lab in Cambridge.

Fran helps customers of the agency obtain umbrella coverage as well as coverage for boats She has been the main trouble-shooter and foundation of the organization over the past 37 years.

Fran is an active member of the Lynnfield community. Mrs. Soderberg devotes her time outside of the office to improving the lives of special needs young adults through the development of educational and recreational programs.

Having raised three children while assisting her husband grow the agency, she is now more active in the agency after getting in adequate tennis time.

Lois Ramocki has been with Soderberg Insurance since June of 2001 and is a licensed property/casualty agent. She has been involved in the insurance industry since 1985. She has extensive experience in customer service having worked for two other local agencies prior to joining Soderberg Insurance.

Ms. Ramocki has taken various insurance courses over the years to further her knowledge of the industry. She is currently working toward her CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) designation.

At Soderberg Insurance, Lois assists customers with their personal insurance servicing needs. She is also the senior account manager for commercial lines customers of the firm. Being technically proficient with the account management system at the agency, she assists commercial clients with certificates of insurance, binders, quoting new business and with their overall general servicing requirements. “I really enjoy helping customers out. It is actually very satisfying” states the insurance professional. Her hobbies include skiing and traveling.

Joan Dillon brings 20 years of insurance experience to Soderberg Insurance customers. A native of Lynnfield, Joan is already familiar with the landscape and local clientele served by the agency. Mrs. Dillon is responsible for the personal lines servicing (home and automobile insurances) of the latter part of the alphabet, primarily servicing customers whose surnames begin with the letters Q through Z. Joan enjoys working with technology and will use her technology skills to provide the best customer service possible. She is also known at the agency as an employee who readily suggests ideas to improve the agency delivery of customer service. Elba Reyna has brought to the agency over ten years of agency experience. Originally from New Jersey, Mrs. Reyna focuses her energy on personal lines servicing (home, auto and umbrella) for customers in her alpha-split (L thru Q). Mrs. Reyna is fluent in Spanish and is not only bi-lingual, but also bi-cultural. This Account Representative has a reputation of providing outstanding customer care. She assists agency clients with vehicle transfers, coverage reviews, explanation of billing charges, and special care when customers have suffered a claim. Lisa Young, a Saugus native, is an Account Executive at Soderberg Insurance Services. Ms. Young has been in the insurance business since 1995. She specializes in providing excellent customer service mainly in personal lines.

Lisa's unique background is a combination of servicing clients at the agency level as well as the company level. Having worked in the position of personal auto underwriting at Plymouth Rock Insurance Company, Lisa understands the insurance company perspective. She balances that perspective with the actual everyday issues of an agency customer.

Lisa has a reputation amongst her customers and her peers for getting the job done quickly, efficiently and professionally. What Lisa enjoys most about the insurance business is that it is often a challenge. "It is also very competitive" states Lisa. "I learn something every day."
